Sunesta retractable awnings · Skippack, PA
Retractable awnings for Montgomery County, PA homes
Shade on demand for your deck or patio, custom-made by Sunesta and installed by the Skippack team that has been building outdoor spaces since 1994.

Shade on demand
Full sun when you want it, shade the moment you don’t
A fixed awning gives you the same shade every day, whether you want it or not. A retractable awning lets you decide. Extend it when the afternoon sun turns your patio into an oven, then roll it back when you want the open sky.
Paul Construction & Awning is an authorized Sunesta dealer, and Sunesta is the only awning brand we install. Every awning is made to order for your deck, patio or window, and you can retract it during storms and through the winter to protect it.
From our showroom in Skippack, we install retractable awnings across Montgomery County, from Blue Bell and Lansdale to Ambler and King of Prussia, and throughout Bucks County and Philadelphia. We also serve Camden, Gloucester and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey.
- Custom-made to the size of your space
- Motorized or manual operation
- Protects outdoor furniture from fading
- Backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee
Design options
Built around your home, not a size chart
Sunesta builds each awning to your specifications, so the choices are yours from the start.
01
Custom sizes
Sunesta makes awnings in every size. No matter how your home or patio is laid out, the awning is built to fit it, from the measurements we take on site.
02
Frame colors
Choose from a range of powder-coated frame colors, so the awning matches your trim and siding instead of competing with them.
03
Fabric selection
Sunesta offers an extensive fabric selection. Choose the fabric that suits your home, and we will talk through the options with you during the consultation.
Applications
Where a retractable awning earns its keep

Patio awnings
Turn your patio into a shaded dining and entertaining space. Enjoy meals outside without the harsh sun or a passing light rain, and keep your furniture from fading.

Deck awnings
Awnings for decks of every configuration, from compact city decks to expansive suburban ones. Shade on demand keeps the deck usable from morning to evening.

Second-story decks
An elevated deck takes the full force of the afternoon sun. A custom-sized awning gives it a roof you can put away.

Commercial awnings
Retractable awnings for restaurants, cafes and retail spaces that welcome customers and make outdoor seating more usable.
Control
Motorized or manual: choose how you open your shade
Motorized retractable awnings run smoothly and quietly from a wireless remote or a wall switch. Many models offer optional wind sensors and rain protection features, and we will help you choose the right configuration for where your home sits.
Manual retractable awnings use an easy crank mechanism. They are reliable, simple to operate and a good fit for smaller installations.

Care
Keep your awning working for years
Routine care keeps an awning performing at its best. Clean the fabric seasonally with mild soap and water, never bleach or harsh chemicals, and let it dry fully before you retract it. Retract it in high winds, storms and freezing weather.
If you notice unusual noise, resistance or sagging, call the office at 610-287-1623. Our awning tune-up and repair services help you protect your awning year-round. For the sides of a porch or covered patio, look at motorized patio screens too.
