An open space for everyone

A patio that extends the way you live

Picture a warm evening around a fire pit, a long table set for dinner, or a quiet corner for your morning coffee. A well-designed patio gives your family that space, and it can make the entrance to your home more inviting too.

Paul Construction & Awning has been designing and building custom patios and hardscapes across Montgomery County and Greater Philadelphia since 1994. Every patio is drawn for your property, then built by the same team that designed it.

A patio has to be built well to hold up to Pennsylvania’s weather extremes. We use high-quality pavers, stone and hardscape materials, installed properly so the surface stays sound and good-looking for years.

Think about the whole yard

Plan the patio with everything around it

A patio often works best as part of a bigger plan. We can design it together with a custom pergola for shade, an outdoor kitchen and patio for cooking, or a deck that steps down to it.

Planning it all at once means the materials, levels and walkways line up, and the whole space reads as one.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

What patio materials do you use?

We build with high-quality pavers, including EP Henry, along with Travertine, brick and natural stone. We will show you the textures, colors and patterns available during your consultation.

Will my patio hold up to Pennsylvania winters?

We choose materials that can withstand Pennsylvania’s weather extremes and install them properly, because a patio is only as durable as the way it is built.

Can you add a fire pit, seat wall or lighting?

Yes. We can integrate seating walls, fire features, lighting, outdoor kitchens and pergolas into your patio design.

Do you build walkways and retaining walls too?

Yes. Walkways and retaining walls are part of the hardscape work we design and build, and we can plan them together with your patio.

Is my patio guaranteed?

Yes. Our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee covers our workmanship. Manufacturer warranties apply separately; ask us for the details on your specific model.
