Install and service retractable awnings, shade systems and outdoor living projects for homeowners across our Greater Philadelphia service area.

This field-based role at Paul Construction & Awning focuses mainly on installing and servicing retractable awnings and shade systems. You will also support related outdoor living projects, including decks, patios and pergolas.

The job
What you will do as a Service Technician
- Install retractable awnings and shade systems
- Handle service calls, troubleshooting and repairs on existing installations
- Assist with installing decks, patios, pergolas and related structures as needed
- Make sure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Load, transport and maintain tools and materials
- Keep job sites clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
Who we are looking for
Requirements for the role
- Experience in construction, carpentry or installation preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and equipment
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, team-oriented and hard-working
- Able to lift heavy materials and do physical work
- A valid driver’s license
