Our history
Three decades of building outdoor spaces across Greater Philadelphia
Since 1994, Paul Construction & Awning has specialized in outdoor spaces made for one specific home: decks, patios, walkways, gazebos, outdoor kitchens, outdoor entertainment areas, post and beam additions, retaining walls and Sunesta retractable awnings.
We serve homeowners in Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania, and in Camden, Gloucester and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey, from our showroom on Skippack Pike. Design, engineering, permitting and construction are all handled in-house, so the team that draws your project is the team that builds it.

From Paul J. Salassa
First, congratulations on your beautiful home. For more than 30 years I have been designing and building custom decks in Ipe hardwood, Trex and cedar, full outdoor kitchens, Travertine and EP Henry paver patios, post and beam additions and a great deal more. Every one of them started the same way: at your home, listening to how you want to live outside.
I care about three things in every design: that it is unique, that it is beautiful, and that it works. A well-designed deck or patio adds value to your home, and it adds a lot of enjoyment to the years you spend there.
I know that trusting a contractor with your property is a big decision. We have spent three decades earning that trust, one backyard at a time. My team and I would be glad to help make your home even more special.

Paul and the design team draw every plan by hand for your specific home. Design, engineering, permitting and construction all stay in-house.

Yes. Any and all work completed by Paul Construction Inc. carries our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee. Manufacturer warranties apply separately; ask us for the details on your specific model.
